8-Shot Evaluation

My 8-Shot journey was the thing i least enjoyed doing, i feel we were thrown in at the deep end because we were given alot of information in a small amount of time, i feel mine was rushed, this was probably also to do with the fact it was our first project so we were the first group to do it.
We had to film 8 different shots of someone travelling from one place to another, based on the story boards we had to draw, on these story boards we had to explain the location and the type of shot.
Mine is lucy travelling from the steps outside college to the venders. The reasons why i didnt like doing the 8-Shot Journey is because as we worked in groups of 2 that it was difficult to do both 8-shot journeys in the amount of time we were given, also it was difficult to get good shots as there were alot of people about, i especially had trouble with the lift shot, as so many people were using the lifts! And to begin with i wasnt familiar with the camera i wouldve preferred to be told in more detail about how to use it as i had never used one before. As we chose to do mine second i feel we were a bit restless and rushing to get it finished as there were so many rubbish shots, which wasnt so great.

But overall i feel for a first attempt mine turned out okay, the shots linked well together, in future i will remember NOT to use lifts or vending machines :P!
I dont feel we had enough time, so it was all too rushed. But other than okay for my first project :)!
